As the Principal of Bharati  Vidyapeeth s ‘A’ grade Loknete Mohanrao Kadam College of Agriculture, affiliated to Mahatma Phule Agriculture University, Rahuri. It is my immense  pleasure and pride that I extend a heartfelt welcome to all of you to our esteemed college established in 2003 at Hingangaon-Kadegaon, Dist. Sangli, MS, India. by late Hon’ble  Dr.Patangrao Kadam, founder, Bharati Vidyapeeth, Pune. Presently, the college is prospering under the learned leadership of Hon’ble Dr. Vishwajeet Kadam, Secretary, Bharati Vidyapeeth, Pune.

Agriculture is a vital sector of the economy contributing significantly to GDP and providing livelihood for a large portion of the population. We have been dedicated to  promote young minds and fostering a passion for agriculture as a renowned college of Western Maharashtra. Over the past  22 years, we have witnessed numerous batches of B.Sc.(Hons), Agri. with 120 cheerful and brilliant students every year from our college, furnished with information, skills and standards that will assist them well in their future endeavours. Alongwith, B. Sc. (Hons.) Agri., seven Y.C.M.O.U Agri. Diploma’s are available and also having a plan to introduce PG in relevant agriculture disciplines.

We believe in providing holistic education that goes beyond the classroom at our College through hands-on learning experiences, internships, and outreach skill enhancement programs, entrepreneurship promotion, research and transfer of technology (ToT). Through a symbiotic relationship with farming community, agribusiness and industry in collaboration. We aim to instil in our students a deep understanding of agricultural practices, environmental stewardship and sustainable rural development through 158 acres of agricultural land, modern infrastructure, smart classrooms and well-equipped laboratories.

As we look towards the future, our vision is to continue expanding our horizons, forging partnerships, and making meaningful contributions to the field of agriculture and allied sectors beyond. I am self-confident that with the commitment of our faculty, the passion of our students and the support of our stakeholders, we will attain new heights of distinction and serve as an example of encouragement for generations to come.

I reassure all members of the LMK Agriculture College community to embrace the openings that lies ahead, to pursue knowledge with passion and curiosity and to uphold the values of honesty, admiration, and service.
